Foxglove

I spotted this foxglove a few days ago and thought plants have no idea like us what the season is. I've never seen a foxglove in autumn! 
It has been a lovely day, changed my bed and dried the sheets on the line. Had my eye test and I need new glasses, am going for something very different with a bit of bling as well. I must be in a bling phase. Had a lovely walk round Parbold and had a lovely lunch at the Yours is the earth cafe. Was going to go and do a bit of shopping but couldn't be bothered so went out in the garden instead. Did some more tidying and even managed to get the root of the skimmia that was hit by frost in the spring. I need to find something to fill that hole now. It's the shaded side of the garden.
