Out, about, and home
Quite late in the day Jan was working on the windows in the Red House. These windows don't open which makes repairing them a little easier. She has sealed them with silicone and is now painting the bits that need painting. I'm sure there's more info on her blip. I like the picture because of the mix of the interior and the reflections of the outside world.
Earlier in the day we had lunch with a friend, Karin W. Jan and Karin were going to discuss Left Party stuff so I cycled there, enjoyed the delicious lunch, and then, as they started their discussions, I cycled onwards to complete a 30 km circuit.
I also took a detour down to the coast to follow a forest track along the side of the sea. That led me to spend a fair bit of time down on a piece of deserted but beautiful coast. I feel very privileged to be able to spend time alone in this beauty. There are no other people around on the stones and sand of the coast, and even out to sea there are no boats. I added an extra showing one of the long views. In the centre is a yellow ferry, connecting the island of Hemsö with the mainland.
Walking over the sand there were two sets of tracks, one human and one canine, so someone walked their dog here and enjoyed the wonderful peace and long views that I enjoyed.
I do live in a lovely place!
