Washing the Spots Off.

A much nicer day, if somewhat windy. I went out to Longshaw to do the last butterfly survey of the year. I didn’t have high expectations so I was not disappointed to see no butterflies. I did enjoy my walk - seeing quite a few fungi, including this Fly Agaric, which has suffered the effects if yesterday’s rain but still shone out. and quite a few False Chanterelles. (extras). I also spotted quite a few caterpillars which I think are Fox Moths.
