Day 32 in England

I woke up to a lump of Shan snuggled on top of me. It was a lovely morning cuddle!

She spent another afternoon at after school club. We picked her up mid snack - chicken wrap and squeezy yoghurt - which she ate on the way home. One of the first things she told us was that The Tiger who Came to Tea, came to tea with them today!! He ate all her biscuits and tea! But she got to stroke him. Then he put his hand on her head and didn’t take it off! She was in hysterics telling us this story. Bless.

We had a special KFC for dinner which seemed to ignite her energy… So we had a dance party, daddy even joined in! Music ranging from YMCA, to 9 to 5, to Smooth Criminal (obviously).

She put her jammies on all by herself tonight. She always ends up with her top the wrong way round but I kinda love it.

Little bit of reading. She can now sound d i m n on top of the other four sounds she’s learnt. She even read her first sentence. ‘I tap it.’ I feel very proud!! She’s picking it up so quickly. Still hesitant with the letter t, she covers her mouth and sounds out c a t to determine which sound t makes. She’s such a poppet. We FaceTimed auntie Bea to show off her skills and her brain got confused - can’t handle the pressure lol!

Wiggles then sleep time. Daddy did bedtime tonight and read the Gruffalo and I Love You Daddy. She loves bedtime with Daddy <3
