Badger Alley

I like giving lanes names.   I used to call this Holly Walk but now I am reframing it as Badger Alley because of the huge amounts of badger setts. I also think of it as Leaning Ash because of many tall, and currently not dead,  Ash trees that loom over the path.  But yesterday it was ‘shroom central.  Lots of fungi on trees and in the undergrowth.  I saw some Ink caps which Wikipedia pronounced edible and delicious and then equivocated in a secondary paragraph saying but maybe toxic.  I am not using Wikipedia to determine if mushrooms are edible given the duality of opinion on that site. 

Long walk first thing and then did some future admin, scraping emails from Euston address to my new work one but got bored of that so made some calls.  Talked to BBC, to a writer in LA and generally chalked a lot up. 

V made supper, we caught up with Slow Horses which was pure pleasure.
