The torso...

D's new exercise regime is yielding good results :-) 

Alan was up bright and breezy and looking forward to his holiday.

He, Penny and Vickie set off for Lancashire just after lunch.  The sun was shining and they were all smiles. The house felt very quiet after they'd gone.

We had lunch then D headed down to a very lovely shop on our High Street to collect this rather striking male torso ornament that the owner had put aside for a pal.  When she visited recently she bought the female version and has longed for the male version ever since.  Now they can be reunited :D

Some time in the studio this afternoon.  N sent me more information on his little boys and some photos so will hopefully get planning their gonk paintings this weekend and the info he's given me should help me personalise them.  Determined to enjoy this commission and not get stressed by it :-))

D saw his GP yesterday and had a steroid injection in his right hand to hopefully cure his trigger finger so no golf today as he has to rest his hand.    His finger has been pain free all day but numb.  He thinks the numbness should only have lasted a few hours.  Hoping it will be gone by tomorrow.  If it's still the same on Monday he will contact the health centre.

Spent some time crocheting.  Almost finished the baby blanket.  Next project is also a baby blanket but will be daisy granny squares.  

Had an Indian takeaway for dinner and we've spent a lazy evening watching tv.  It's funny having an empty :-))
