Escaped the flood...

The flowers in pots seemed to do ok in the week long flood we just had. Some were up on rock walls or stands or urns. I'm happy to have a few left to enjoy. Thanking Annie, BikerBear for hosting.
Hubby received a message first thing this morning saying part of our large pecan tree came down on the neighbors fence on the island we just finished repairing about a month ago. We just can not get ahead. We are still much better off than our friends in FL and all the people dealing with the clean up after Hurricane Helene. They need prayers.

A garden is always a series of losses set against a few triumphs, like life itself.
