Young Sienna

Had a few errands to run, and a cake to bake for tomorrow.

Got most things done and then attended a street party for one of our neighbours daughter who turned 13 today.

As I left the party to come home and finish the cake, another neighbours daughter Sienna asked if she could come see the cats.

Sienna stayed and chatted and played with the cats for a long time. It was quite lovely actually, cause I don’t get to spend much time with girls much, unlike in Hong Kong.

She ended up having dinner with Martin and me. I’d made chicken wings in the air fryer and she was game to try them. She doesn’t usually eat spicy food, but she did today. She felt like she was on ‘Hot Ones’!!!

Her mum came to collect her and ended up staying for a bit and then dad and other neighbours came round and everyone stayed till late. It was lovely.

Love spontaneous evenings like that.
