Excellent venue Lafayette's; tiered standing on the balcony as well as a small ground floor. It gave the sense of an old music hall or theatre - 800 capacity. 

The gig felt special too. The band had upgraded to this bigger venue and sold it out. I know 'cos she exclaimed it in disbelief a couple of times or so.

Real time (Friday) - Mum
Spent most of the day travelling down to Swansea by train - due to the recent rain had 2 diversions off the mainlines and one extra train change, but not too much hassle considering - 50 mins late arriving.

A pleasant walk early evening to "watch" my nephew at football training with my brother. Saw little of it - he was playing the far side, but keen to spend time and show interest.
