Sunlit

It has been so good to have a bright sunny day, with a clear blue sky, although it is definitely colder.
I wish I had had my camera just after lunch. There were a few scraps of fat from our plates and we usually chop them up and put them on top of the wall. We hadn’t done this for at least a couple of weeks, so when Norman put them up there we wondered whether the birds would have remembered. They must have been up there watching as he hadn’t even gone back indoors before two huge crows swept down and started on the scraps. Before they had got very far two magpies, half their size, dived in and chased them off. The scraps were cleared in a matter of minutes. Great entertainment!
