Obstacle

It has been rather windy yesterday and last night. But it was still a surprise to come across a fallen tree, when B and I went for our walk this morning.

But it had its advantages. This little road runs between a number of private gardens and allotments, and usually when we walk there, we need to get out of the way of the garden owners‘ cars (usually big pickups or SUVs that can only get past us when we squeeze into the hedges or brambles at the roadside).

Today, after we climbed over the tree, we didn’t have to dodge any cars for a long while.
