Pink sand

We drove to the other side of Crete to Elafonisi beach. This involved driving up steep windy mountainous roads which is not my favourite past time.

However it was worth it. Turquoise water and a shallow warm lagoon with rose tinted sand. Sure there were loads of people, but the place was huge and easily accommodated them. A beautiful way to spend the day.
