Margate

We went to Margate to find two interesting micropubs. (Well, that's why I went).

First impression was the smell. The harbour collects seaweed which decays and stinks at low tide. We arrived at low tide.

It was a cool day and we bobbed in to this arcade, empty, save for a coffee shop. We walked on the quay. The first micropub was shut.

We walked along the promenade. The second micropub was shut.

We got back in the car and went to Herne Bay. We found a nice warm pub, which was open, and had a very pleasant lunch.
