Total Bliss

I'd slept well and was ready for a swim. The sun  was up and there was mist floating above the lake as we drove over Ouse bride at Basssenthwaite Lake. I nipped down the steps to take a photo before our swim.
The water was silky and easy to swim in. We got to the yellow buoy and back before I new it. (Probably just under a mile). I didn't even feel tired. Propelled along by the chit that and laughter!
We tucked into breakfast at Bassenthwaite Lake Station continuing with our chit chat. I had a hallumi and mushroom buttie with brown sauce.
