Stravaigin on a Saturday

Started the day looking at pictures and videos of the KL Highland Games, #1 sun was in the tug o' war, #2 granddaughter was putting the shot and throwing the Welly boot and #2 sun is on the organising committee. It looked busy.

Then by 2 buses and a tram down to Leith for a quick stroll round the market and then a Doors Open Day visit to the Custom House. My dad worked there in the 60's as Appointer and I managed to sneak into his office, now a storeroom. Then a coffee at Victor Hugo before lunch at Tapa with M, my distant cousin.

Left her to get the bus up to JL to pick up my new handset and suss out lights now I need to replace one. Then a walk up to the Bank of Scotland building to see inside the Bryce Hall, not very exciting.

I've spent the evening realising the handset will have to be returned (only takes 1 nano SIM), faffing around with family history (and driving into my old emails) and looking at old maps of S Edinburgh, prompted by aerial photographs of W Mains Rd.

Funny know why but I feel quite discombobulated.
