Dahlias

Great that some of the flowers are still blooming after the recent heavy rains and cooler temperatures. I like this combination of dahlias in full bloom with a bud and the remains of one that's lost all its petals. Not sure if the bud will open.
We watched Kalyn's first home game this morning! So glad that the VPN worked. The team won in four sets. After losing the first set 26-28, they won the next three 25-17, 25-15 and 25-19. A slow start in the first set and I thought they were going to lose, but they caught up and came close to winning. Great to see Kalyn play very well, a few blocks and kills. We saw where Renata and I will be sitting and cheering them on, and thankfully the fans were noisy so we'll fit right in!  A super advantage of technology, being able to watch a game live in another country.
