This Avro Lancaster [KB944] never saw active service, being delivered to Europe in March 1945 and assigned to 425 (Allouette) Squadron. It was returned to Canada in June 1945 In 1964, the RCAF painted it in the colours of 428 (Ghost) Squadron as KB760
