Ginny and Cora

We have started our tour north to Scotland with a first stop with friends in Cumbria. Ginny was L’s regular riding partner for some time until romance blossomed and she moved up to be with Paul. They very kindly invited us to stay overnight to break our journey. Of course a visit to the local stables to meet her new ride was an important part of the day.

Paul cooked us a sumptuous lamb dinner and it was lovely to while away the evening.

Tomorrow is our longest drive as we head up towards Glencoe and the beginning of a tour of the north western highlands.
