Autumn colours
I couldn’t resist these pens because of their lovely autumn colours. I was thinking they could bring a bit of joy to work. I really should have read their description first before just thinking - oooh pretty! They are a brush fibre type pen, not a gel type, so not really suitable for use at work. They will be great for things like signing cards and gift tags but it for any serious amount of writing. Ah, well …
It was a surprisingly warm and sunny day. We headed to the Old Well for breakfast. I went with mum and Dad since we needed the big car to fit Dad’s wheelchair in and Ian and Leo came in Fernando so that Leo could get some driving time in. It sounds like they had an eventful journey with lots of temporary traffic lights and a broken down tractor causing chaos on the way through.
I had avoided all that by opting to take the motorway since the garden centre is just off the motorway, one junction up from Cully
Then Leo and I watched some tv footie. I did a few hours work to take the pressure off things next week and Ian mowed the lawn before the rain arrives.
Bobbie came around after her shift at Bear Town finished and they went out for a trip in her car to McDonalds. I think they are just enjoying the freedom of being mobile without relying on parent taxis or buses! Leo can’t wait until he can take his test.
