Double Cinnamon

Nero have introduced a new item to their food - cinnamon bun! It’s delicious but I stuck to the cinnamon swirl.

We had a nice reacquaintance with Nero and met a couple who live down the road from us that haven’t seen for ages.

Picked up some food items to keep us going till I do a food order and started to walk home but I felt a bit wearied so got the bus and S and Lucca walked back. I’m a bit stuffed up (sinus) on return from holiday. It’s fine though.

Eventually chose the accommodation for Ben and I for Amsterdam next week. It’s in a B and B next to the Vondelpark. The lady only has two rooms in a traditional Amsterdam type house and lives on the third and fourth floor. She given me details on getting there from the airport and any other tips I need. It’s good to get some recommendations from a local as we found out in Zadar and Šibenik.

Did some pruning of the plants in my pots. They survived us being away and are still looking good.

Had a trip to Gloagburn for the olive oil I use and picked up a couple of scones.

A quiet night and an early nights (is there ever anything else)!
