Finally vacation time and I hope to catch with blip. We have had a discombobulated travel day. We headed out to the South Carolina coast early this morning. Due to my forgetting things we left half an hour later than intended. At each meal stop ran into delays. Finally arrived on the island and was welcomed by a terrific thunder storm.

As to the photo. This is the early morning skyline of Charlotte North Carolina. Our travel route runs smack in the middle of the city.

Waiting to go to dinner now. Afterwards a nice stiff drink to relax. :)
