Rocking at Edinburgh Castle

Just back from Runrig's 40th anniversary concert. What a night! Brilliant setting, great crowd and the band on top form. Loved every minute! Now heading to our cheap but good accommodation which in term time houses Napier University students.

It's been a great day, hot and sunny in the capital, having left misty Aberdeenshire in the morning. We travelled down by train, picking up a picnic on the way which we enjoyed in a leisurely fashion in the Meadows before the concert.

A day in the city tomorrow to look forward to!
