Flowers for dad

We buried my dad’s ashes today. A simple and short ceremony with his immediate family, and a chance for a final goodbye. I spent the rest of the morning taking my niece to her ballet class and helping her tidy her room. We’d arranged a bigger family lunch at a restaurant my dad used to like and lovely to see all my nieces and nephews (bar one who is at University). After that, the slow train to London.
