Sunday

I spent the morning tackling great big clumps of Leucanthemum Superbum that seem to be taking over some parts of the garden. I shall dig some up and move them or offer them to other gardens.

At about 2 pm, we decided to go to our local for lunch. Here, we got talking to a woman about dogs and she guessed Hetty's weight at 16kgs. I was very impressed and told her Hetty was 17kgs and that my vet suggested she was on the cusp of being overweight.

Turns out this woman is a vet at our practice so she gave Hetty a quick check. She said she was fine but ideally 15.5kg would be better.

We plan to weigh her food from now on.

Hetty has walked from the Beckhampton Gallops to the Lansdowne monument at Cherhill and back again today.  How can she be a bit overweight?

Today's photo is a Pale Tussock caterpillar. A real pop of colour.
