Two Stories

First a memory. Today was the occasion of the annual sheep drive over (usually London, but today Southwark) bridge. This is in memory of the medieval right for Freemen of the City of London (of which I am one) to drive their sheep over London Bridge toll free. I did this in 2015 (I am sure there are blips about this at the time. Once Noah (5 in December) is old enough to enjoy it, I will take him. Others I know welt along today and had a good time it is reported.
Secondly Layla and I were together today while Penny met up with old friends in Southampton. We went for a walk around our usual circuit (13521 steps so far) and, of course, Layla enjoyed paddling in the large, deep, very muddy, puddle! We had fun together.
