Storm

A wild night and a pretty wild day - gales, lashing rain and general unpleasantness and I don't think this storm even had a name. Everywhere flattened and flopped but thankfully no damage and the electricity has stayed on.
A family day though - nice early morning WhatsApp with my brother who was on his turret surrounded by wasps and parakeets, and blue skies!  And a catch up with Will who was chilling after a day out in Wales looking at waterfalls and we may yet catch up with the birthday girl a bit later on today, before they head off to a house truck surrounded by llamas! Thanks you for all the love for Esme, she is pretty special - not that I'm biased!
And today is of course St Michael's day  - no more eating blackberries after this day for the devil has an unpleasant habit of peeing on them after this date apparently!
