Called Session in English

This is held on the last Saturday of every month in The Harbour Bar in Arklow.  All very talented musicians with a song thrown in every now and then. One of the songs that they sang was Rainy Night in Soho. It was originally sang by the Pogues and written by Shane McGowan who passed away last November 2023.

A friend of his the Musician and Singer Nick Cave sang it at his funeral mass.
