Thirty-two

Bailey's breakfast was a bit late today as I fell back to sleep after the alarm. back to bed once he had eaten and I didn't stir my bones for quite some time. Up eventually and a walk around the block before I sorted some washing and did a bit of a tidy, putting off setting to to mark my Y11 books. I did them by degrees and they'd done pretty well on the whole so not too much of a chore. A bit more planning and ticking things off the list as well as tackling the ironing pile, hoovering and cleaning the kitchen floor. I also caught up on Bake Off and  watched the Strictly results, with Bailey requiring a walk part way through. I also finished listening to the second instalment from the Wigtown bookseller. I listened to the majority of it whilst painting the dining room and then on the walk to and from town yesterday. My book reading seems to have slowed right down so this one definitely counts towards my 2024 total, particularly as I am 11 books behind last year's total at this point.
