‘Threatening Clouds’

A short sharp burst of heavy rain at around six this morning heralded a bit of a change in the weather here in Cefalù. The wind had got up, but it was still comfortably warm wind for our morning jog. 

More clouds, though, and bigger, heavier looking ones too, providing a constsant threat (never realised) of a very local downpour.

As we walked along the prom about half an hour before sunset, one such dark cloud was sitting above a sunlit Cefalù, reminding me of the scene of the 90s film ‘Independence Day’!
