Farewell Friends

There's a huge triathlon taking place in the island, so loads of road closures etc... Took an age and an extremely scenic route to get to church this morning! We were late for tech set up - so not my skill set, it's like a foreign language to me.
A brilliant service hearing someone's testimony, and later celebrating Adrian and Linda with a surprise farewell do and video montage. In 2 weeks they'll be leaving and heading back to Belfast, we'll miss them hugely. Also in the photo is Gemma, who runs the San An side of the 24-7 work here.
This evening I was in the hospital with Stuart, I took over from my friend Natasha who's an end of life doula. She was massaging Stuart's feet with various oils - the room smelled amazing and he totally loved the positive touch. It was a joy to see her.
Good to have some time with Stuart, he was dozing on and off whilst I pottered and read some work stuff. He did however play me a song that's bringing him a lot of joy at the moment - it put a smile on both our faces.

My slightly odd pose, hanging off Danny, was covering a stain on his Tshirt, ha!!!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Adrian and Linda - their love and care and the huge impact they've made in Ibiza in a relatively short time. They will be incredibly missed.
2) Gemma finishing the summer season and doing SO well.
3) Natasha's kindness and care. I love that she's thinking of all the senses and how to bring some joy and peace.
