Le conversation

This conveniently placed couple prevented me posting a boring scenic tonight. Came out of Sainsbury's at half nine without a single photo taken today, so it was up to the castle esplanade, leave the kids in the car and point my lens at the wallace monument.

Day well spent though. Put together Corrie's Trike with a new chain, bled my disc brakes, lunch in the garden, dinner with my mum and dad, filled up the fridge at Sainsburys and watched Chris Froome win the 100th Tour de France in some style.

It turned out to be the podium I was hoping for. CF on top in the yellow jersey, Nairo Quintana, the young Colombian newcomer (and future winner) in second with the white jersey, and El Puerrito, Joaquim Rodriguez storming into third place. It's been an amazing race - just need the Manx Missile to do his stuff on the champs elysee tomorrow, but I think he might get pipped by german gorilla Kittell.
