Sunday: Sparks

We had breakfast out and enjoyed some excellent pupusas at a little shack in town (see extra).

We hadn’t been to the zoo for a while so decided to visit today.  It’s actually more of a rehabilitation centre than a zoo as it only has animals that can’t survive in the wild.  It’s not huge, but it’s nicely done.

This is Sparks, the tapir.  His parents were both in the zoo, having been orphaned in wildfires.  Sparks is the result of their love match……….
