She's baaaaack....
After a four-day drive in a ‘recreational vehicle’ to Utah, a two-day raft on the Colorado River, and then a three-day drive to the airport in Denver, Sue has come home.
I collected her at the airport with her one bag and backpack, into which she had packed not only clothing and food but also camping and rafting equipment for all weather (and she had weather, though mostly she had HOT), for nine days. She says it was glorious, worth every bit of the effort, planning, and work. Maybe she’ll post some backblips.
For now, she’s exhausted—both from the travels and from being constantly in the company of others, no breaks, no solitude (the most exhausting part of all). I left her at her house and will visit and hear stories on Tuesday, after she’s had a couple of days of solitude and blissful sleep in her own bed.
