ABORIGINAL INSTRUMENTS ....MONO MONDAY...SOUND.

It's none stop rain here today, so I'm getting on with inside jobs. Today's Mono Monday is (sound) so I've sorted out these presents my daughter brought back from her trip to Australia. The clapsticks are a traditional percussive instrument used by men and women to maintain rhythm during vocal chants. The circular drum made with animal hide over a wooden frame is to beat with your hands. The boomerang is to make the still life pleasing to the eye. Thank you to Carolina for hosting Mono Monday.
