In search of the first RIE

Having re-visited the second (Lauriston Place) Royal Infirmary at a Book Festival event in August, I thought I'd see if there were any traces left of the first Royal Infirmary (built in 1729, I think). I'm sure it was somewhere round here, but I don't think there's any of the old building left.
