Lafayette Park, San Francisco. My old neighborhood. I noticed that there'd been some renovation done to the park so I went to investigate, lots of new places to sit and the children's play area looked like it had been updated and it was certainly being put to good use that afternoon. The palm trees have always been there but they've added some new plantings and repaved the walkways. This view is looking down Octavia Street at the cross of Sacramento Street. In the distance on the left can be seen Saint Mary's Cathedral.

My lovely friend H treated me to lunch at Le Central. It was so great to catch up! We caught a glimpse of Wille Brown as he was coming into the restaurant.

Did the rounds at the stores in Union Square but bought nothing! I wasn't tempted by a single thing! :-)
