Hardy Orchid

Rain all day so a visit to the local plant nursery and garden centre.
Whilst there we discovered this rather unusual pot plant for sale.
We have the very tiny Autumn Lady’s Tresses growing wild around here. But this resembles the taller Irish Lady’s Tresses which is much taller and much rarer in the wild. This one is labelled Spiranthes Chadds Ford.

My bird watching friend thinks that the unidentified bird in yesterday’s blip was probably a Redshank. I think thisis right as when I looked back on my Merlin birdsong app. I see that it recorded one. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Extra showing some mini Mums looking good.
