Pete and Eve…

….came to visit us in the wood.

Pete was my boss during the London years and we had some great times. I don’t see him much, but last time we got together (usually leaving nights for former colleagues) he asked to visit the wood to understand what-was-what. They brought pastries from Falco Konditormeister and so a five star tour was assured. Great to see them.

Earlier, we bumped into our lovely woodland neighbour in her funky new car and it reminded me that we've been so pre-occupied with the house move and Aunty K, we've barely been near our woodland haven. Hopefully that will change soon.

Later, I gave our scouting chum Karen a lift into Edinburgh and then headed into the Royal Infirmary to check on Aunty K. She was aware but remains very weak.
