As the crow flies
We spotted this crow this morning on our walk - it was sitting observing its surroundings, and despite Xena going instantly into pointer mode and silently stalking it, getting closer and closer, it sat there for a while allowing me to get a photo of it before it flew off.
It was slightly damp this morning but we have not had rain like I expected. I had some parcels to return at the post office, and also went to the pharmacy to book my flu jab. As more people die from flu than Covid every winter, I feel that the flu jab is more important and I do get it every year, even though I have to pay for it - money well worth spent.
Tonight is our first camera club competition, it's a PDI (projected digital image) competition which is a good thing as the prints that I ordered for the first print comps seem to have been lost by Royal Mail. The printer said I must wait a few more days and if they still don't turn up they will reprint them for me at their cost which is great, as the art prints I get are very expensive.
