Prairie Garden

S had no commitments today so we had another good day together. We went to Cambo Gardens. No matter which season you visit the gardens in, there is always something that catches your interest. 

A lot has been done since the last time we visited. The edible garden was wonderful. Such a selection of plants and well laid out. A treat to see it!  Very inspirational. 

I've never been a great fan of prairie gardens, but then Orkney isn't really the place for them! Being able to walk through and round the one here at Cambo was a real eye opener. There was still a fair bit of colour and the planting was almost magical. Really beautiful. Had I the space and the proper location, I would love to have a go. 

If you ever get a chance, it's a wonderful place to visit.
