Larder

A wet day here today. Met a ridiculous number of very well-fed squirrels on my lunchtime walk. 

Tied in all the ends on my cable jumper and a crocheted shawl that I finished a few weeks back and blocked both (now my bathroom echoes with zen little dripping noises).

We have been on tenterhooks to find out if D is getting a new job which will require us to move county. Today we found out that we get to stay here a little longer, but he still gets a promotion. Best of both worlds and we can finally now breathe again.

I'm taking this as an opportunity to revise how I want to spend my life. If I'm staying in this flat, I need to make the most of it. Yet to work out exactly what that means but wasting time on things that don't make me happy is one of the things to be thrown out the window.
