Champagne Cycle

The last full day of our time en France.

We drove to Mancy and hired cycles from a very small champagne house and set off an a circular route around the champagne vineyards.
We got lost, only once.
We, (Mr.R) only left his bag behind once and had to retrace his steps.

The sun beat down on us, so we stopped up on the hill neath a wild cherry tree, which was ladden with cherries. We ate our picnic. but of course, Curly fries had to climb said tree and pick some cherries to taste. They weren't at all bad!

I did get a very sweet shot of him plus his ringlets surrounded by cherries, but thought you might like to see the view instead.

One of my highlights of the week. A wee bit of excercise and spectacular views. Seeing all the different Champagne house names at the end of the rows of vines
; Moet et Chandon, Bollinger etc.
Only problem was, we couldn't taste them.
