First Fire of Autumn .

A day usefully spent plus the delight of a fire . It’s been very chilly today alongside the persistent rain .
Miss B was forced out into the wet weather and walked with great reluctance down to the swollen river . I had left my phone at home but NC managed to capture the water swirling and bobbing along . Despite being known for its rainfall Lancashire does not often have such heavy and persistent rain .
