Cold, green and shady.

There was a time, a few months ago, when I would have substituted "cool " for "cold " but there was a distinct chill in the air. It makes a great improvement on yesterday's rain and gales which luckily didn't leave much of a mark on the village, a few branches down and evidence of the river overtopping on the flood plain which is quite normal.
