Engine on the line

MrsPuff and I went back out to Pleasant point today and shot some more images Celebrating 150 years of rail in New Zealand. D 16 is coming into the station on her return trip from Keanes Crossing Station one and a half miles up the track. A pleasant 20 deg C not bad for Winter, we had lunch at the Legends Cafe which is the old Post office its rustic and has great food I recomend the lamb shanks. On the walls they have photos of local athletes who have gone on to represent New Zealand which is a fantastic celebration.
Millies photo will be one of the next ones up there when she dons the Silver Fern of New Zealand next month.Steam engines
