Flowers and things

A gorgeous blue sky this morning. Saw a viceroy butterfly. The zinnias and the mums loved all the rain we had and the warm temps so they are booming! I found another bud on the dahlia!

Still no power here at the house. My girl Dee got power back late yesterday so she is making supper for us and her sister who is also still out.

Brett texted he has seen crews working around his house all day so he is hoping he will have power today.


Tate said he has a friend who lives closer to town who may have power and internet by tomorrow. He will set up there to work hopefully.


More photos of the destruction in North Carolina are showing up on Facebook sites that I follow. Most of these are hiking sites where they link to towns and info centers. It is so heartbreaking.
