Lake Rotoiti

We had a Camera Club meet up at Lake Rotoiti this morning. At the last minute, a few of us decided to up earlier with some props before the others arrived to take some 'modelling' images. This is the result.

Yes - it's midwinter. Yes- this is a snow fed Lake. Yes it was cold, and no - The Mistress didn't model! She said that someone had to push the buttons on all the cameras!

Fortunately because we were up so early, we missed the 5.8 quake that rocked our houses, and the subsequent 71 aftershocks throughout the day. The Mistress thinks she felt one about 1.15pm when we got home.

A very enjoyable day and it feels so nice to be photographing beautiful landscapes instead of fantails :)
