Damselfly and Exuviae
What a lovely late afternoon kayak on a little jewel of a lake. Some days one's blip is a struggle and on other days the struggle lies in choosing just one. I photographed red necked grebes, much closer up, osprey, bald eagle, bullfrogs, dragonflies and then this damsel just after she left her exuviae. Her wings were still "hardening" and a fly was checking out her former shell.
