Primrose or Primula

I really don't know, but this variety is small and is a candalabra variety of sorts.  Shown is the next layer emerging of the candalabra.
Anyhoo, I've tagged this for Tiny Tuesday "earth" hosted by freespiral.  Plants need the earth to grow, right?  And the tiny buds are as tiny as a pin head, the coloured ones.
The triptych shown in extra arrived in the post this morning after being in the national triptych exhibition....named "Beach Offerings" it gained a Highly Commended.  The Nelson Club who runs this yearly competition print the entries that gained awards, once the exhibition is finished they send the print to the author.  Win win. I found a space on the wall and photographed it.
