Sunrise on Sea

What a magnificent start to a magnificent day.....high temp of 18 deg!!
Got up to make us a cup of tea and saw this and much more....used the 70 - 200 at maximum zoom, so this is really only a small percentage of the display and this is the less showy. I did take out some colour as it was a bit too strong for my taste. The "tram lines" are actually the Pacific Ocean, the sun reflected on the water. Looks to be some fog way out on the horizon.

Thinking of my Wellington family tonight, the earthquake at 5 pm sent them all under the table - 6.5, a real nasty one. They are shaken and jittery. There have been four significant quakes since last Friday and many more smaller ones. Worrying.

I'm settling in to watch the final of X Factor, three finalists left....two are worthy, the other not quite so much.
